I am attempting to learn quilting curves. I am practicing right now and getting a little frustrated. I am trying the mosaic pieces in the new issue of quilters newsletter. I don't THINK I am doing badly, just think you more seasoned quilters may have some better ways to feed the fabric. I do regular piecing but want to branch out.

Place the outside curve on the bottom, and the inside curve on the top when sewing.

Yes if I could. Only have use of left side. And I thought PP was hard.

I fold and finger press both curves in the center, then pin the center first. I do not pin very much, but sew slow adjusting around the curve.

Hopefully, your pattern came with center markings on it. I first line that up with my 2 pieces then at each end. Then sew slow and just ease in.

Match the middles up I only pin here then I take one end to the sewing machien line it up and sew slowly. It just seems to know how to curve around .

A great lesson from beginning sewing: always sew with a relaxed bottom! Thus the outer curve is on the bottom. I also, only pin at the center. Go slow and keep realingning as you sew. I do use the longer angled tweezers to line up the top and bottom ends.
