Default Anybody used a Goddess Sheet or Gypsey Quilter Silicone Pressing Mat?

Hi All!

I am thinking about getting a heat resistant mat for fusing appliqué. Anybody use either the goddess sheet products or the Gyspy Quilter Appli-fuse mat! Both are available at my LQS (I think they are similar), just hoping to get some reviews from experienced quilters. I currently use parchment paper, but want to treat myself to a new notion.

I don't know the name of mine but it's a light brown non stick sheet. It isn't see through so for applique it may be better to get a see through one. It works fine for me. I think they all brands do the job. I would get the one that is the largest size.

Mine is a goddess. I’ve used it for many years when doing raw edge applique with steam a seam. It works beautifully

Danny Amazonas, one of if not the best collage artist in the world, uses the large Goddess Sheet, and it is on his list of requirements for all his classes.

I took a Danny Amazonas class. My quilting buddy had the Goddess sheet and said I could use hers for the class. I took my small brown one too. I used my small one the most but the Goddess sheet was nice, just bigger then I need at home.

I was looking at the Precision/Premium see through fusing mat on Amazon. A friend has one that is 17x24 and loves it.The site reviews are very good and the price is reasonable.
I did see it reviewed and demonstrated on Laura Coia's "Sew Very Easy"

Anyone use this one?

I have the Goddess sheet that I really like and I also have the Precision see through mat. You can lay the see though mat on top of your pattern and it takes the guess work out of where to place pieces it has been especially helpful with my McKenna Ryan patterns that have a million teeny tinny pieces.

I have the Appliqué Pressing Sheet from Bear Thread Designs, and have used it for years. It's great, and semi-see through--at least I can see appliqué lines through it.
