Just learned an hour ago that school is cancelled for the day. So I am going to sit down and get our Xmas cards done then tidy up the kitchen and dining room then....I will START making a raggy quilt for my dad. Thank goodness it is already cut out! I need it by Monday. Guess I had better get busy, huh?

I started a puff quilt a few years ago-never got the back on-just don't know how to do the back. Maybe some one out there could give me suggestions-how are you going to attach the back to your biscuit quilt--auntpiggylpn?

Got to have 2 quilts finished for my grand-children for Christmas, not much to be done but then my hubby had his birthday today and the whole family was here, so no working done on the quilts, specially not since the littlies were here too. Maybe tomorrow afternoon after church and on Monday morning, had to unpick and will have to redo a couple of quilting seams too, they didn't look right.... Yes, time gets tight!!!
You all have a very merry Christmas und a blessed holiday season!!!

I gave up! I was trying to FMQ a quilt for my granddaughter; but I'm going to have to finish it later as I want to take my time and do a good job. I did finish 2 quilts to use as gifts and have one at the LAQ that isn't going to make it back on time. Think I'll start in January so that next year my quilts will be ready by Christmas.

Nope. Not cramming with any sewing this year. I only made a few things for gifts this year and not one quilt. This weekend I'm starting on a long awaited bow tuck bag just for me.

Got done with all the big things a few days ago. This is a first for me to be done early. I am ususally wrapping the last thing on Christmas eve. Glad to be done early because dh and I are both down with head colds and flu.

Two quilts for the 'giving tree' at church as presents for children, two customers quilts and one for my granddaughter....in a week....whew. Now I'm just relaxing.
