Default Anyone ever use Pellon Quilter's grid for nine point?

I am still rather new to quilting but found a pattern that suggests using on point Pellon Quilter's Grid. I don't THINK it would make it too stiff but I don't want to take the chances. This might be a quilt I will think about putting in our county fair. Any information surely would be appreciated.

Thank you,
Linda

I used it once for a Water color quilt, and it worked great! It's those tiny 1&1/2 inch squares.

I'm thinking you are meaning 9-Patch and not nine point.

The best way to decide is to try it out as a sample and see if it's to your liking.

I use alot of the grid , but mainly for wallhangings. It does make it stiff. One note when you use light color fabrics , cream or white and use anyting larger than a 1 inch square you can see the yellow or blue Lines ( depending on if you use the iron-on or regular) of the grid through the fabric. This becomes very apparent if held up to natural light and the batting used.
Do get a sample and do a small experiment before a big project.
