There is an add on for EQ with the Hobo blocks. I got it for Christmas from the children. The quilt is something that I would love to make for one of my grown boys one of these days. Ann in TN

The blocks work up pretty fast, of coarse the hand applique one for me take a little longer.

I just bought the book, haven't decided when to start. I have a few other projects going on right now. Where do they have the fabric? thanks

You can get it at www.patchworkco.com

Her SIL owns Whidham fabric's and worked with the arthuor of the books and made the fabric line. There's 43 fabrics in all. I got a 1/4 yd of each. Since there's only 55 blocks in the book.

I have been doing a Hobo Quilt. I've been using fabric from old shirts I get at the dollar-a-bag day at the local Mission store. I think they give the quilt some authenticity, as well as making it economical. I've also purchased the embroidery package that does some blocks, so when I get all done it will be a combination of everything.

I live in a town that has about 100 trains a day go through. I also worked for many years at the police department and we had "train bums" come to the police department on a regular basis both for good and bad reasons. I wish I had known about these signs at the time so I could have asked them.

I figure it will take me a while to finish as I only work on it occasionally.

    Good luck to everyone.

    Nancy
