I have this machine and it works very well. No complaints. The auto threading is not as automatic as on my sewing/embroidery machine, but I learned how to use it, and it works fine. I bought it to have a portable machine that I could take to classes or if I visit my grandkids and want to sew with them. I also use it when I take my big, heavy machine in for servicing--and I never have to take IT in for servicing :-) . I think it's a great bargain.

I just got a Brother lite weight Project Runaway
limited edition Innovis 40.
I really love it
I have a foot problem and this machine will run by
itself without using the foot on the floor, just unplug

I have a Janome and a Phaff and Ilove them both, but
my brother is a Dream.

Cindy in NY. call around to sewing machine shops in your

area, I am sure they can help with getting you a used
Sewing Machine, also state what price you can afford,
buying on line is not the best way to go.
I went to a shop that sells Brother, and its guaranteed.

Good luck my friend
Barba in Oregon.

I've been reading about it on Amazon.com and also perusing the reviews. I am really impressed with it but after reading some reviews, I don't know.
I really need a better machine than I have now but can't afford a really expensive machine.
find a local sewing machine repair place near you and look for a reconditioned machine... I have a brother machine and it is now in storage in my attic. did not care for it bought a reconditioned viking saphire 830
