Does anyone own a topaz or knows anything about them. I am looking to get embroidery machine with the bigger hoop so I can use it to quilt my quilts.

I have a viking Diamond and a Designer SE.and I love them,so I am sure you will love the Topaz

I Have the Sapphire 870 Quilt. It is not an embroidery machine. I've looked at the Topaz and it is a nice machine.

Has anyone looked at the Ruby? It is a smaller & less expensive version of the Diamond. I really liked it & if I didn't have the Designer SE and the 870 Quilt Sapphire I would definitely consider the Ruby.

All the new machines are using the "body" of the Sapphire with the wider sewing area & therefore can use the larger hoops on the embroidery machine which is nice.
