I got my new ipod touch so I thought about buying this so I could take pics of my fabrics and catalog them. Some of the reviews say the program crashes a lot. Has anyone had this experience? I hate to pay $5 for an app (I don't think I've ever paid that much. Well maybe for Bejeweled 2....) and have it not work right.

not sure if it is the same one, but there is one that has a lite version, only stores 5 fabrics so you can sample it, it seems like it could be handy. if you had fabrics you were trying to match.

I have it but have never gone to the trouble to take all the pics and catalog my fabric. It sounded like a good idea when I got it but then I decided it was too much trouble. Might be easier if you have an iphone but i just have the ipod touch which has no camera. I'm still carrying around my notebook with swatches.

That's why I never downloaded it before but my new ipod touch does have a camera so I thought I'd try it. I know I originally read about it here but couldn't remember the reviews.

I haven't used it, but I have an iphone and just searched my apps, and there is one called Fabric Journal that is $1.99 and does the same thing it sounds like.

I use my Ipod touch for pictures only. I made two folders.......one for photos and one for crafts. I use my camera to take pictures of fabric or quilt patterns......and transfer them to my computer. Then I copy and paste into my Ipod folder. Connect Ipod to computer and open Itunes....the new pictures are transferred to Ipod. Never leave home without it!
