I don't know if all of you know that Joann's has an app for the iphone. Maybe there are apps for other types of phones. All you do after downloading the app, go to "coupon" and it shows all the coupons that are in date. Save what you want to your phone. They have exp dates but there will be coupons to replace the expired ones. At least, that has how it has worked so far. Take your iphone to Joann's and have the coupon on the screen. The check out person enters the coupon number into her register. That is all there is to it. Right now there is a 40% off coupon for a regular priced item. I think this app has been available for only a couple of months.

Do you know if it works on the ipod touch? Like, can I download the coupon to my ipod at home and then it stays there for when I go to Joann's? I am constantly forgetting my coupons at home so this would be great for me if it would work.

I only know about the iphone. It is great. I have already used it. I really thought that I would have trouble at the checkout - maybe the checkout person would not be familiar with it. But I didn't. It was a very smooth, quick transaction.

bummer-only works on os 4 and I don't want to switch. I'll put it on dd's ipod. :mrgreen:

Darn, I like going into JoAnn's with absolutely nothing in my hands so I can be free to handle the fabric. The only thing I take in is cash or a debit card that I can put in my pocket without bulk. Maybe I can get DH to put this app on his phone for the few occasions I forget to take coupons. :lol:
