    Default Appliqué with sateen cotton

Has anyone used sateen cotton to do appliqué - particularly raw edge appliqué? I'm curious if it would fray more than regular cotton or if it would be about the same. Thanks for your input!

I’ve used cotton sateen for a whole cloth quilt and for backing, I do think it frays a little more than the quilting cotton I usually use, but if you are using a fusible for your appliqué and stitching around the edges I think it will be ok. I would use a blanket stitch around it to help control the fraying
