I am thinking of purchasing this pattern. Has anyone used "applique fiber"? It is included in the kit. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=p5197.c0.m619
I have never heard of this. Any information that you have will be helpful.

Thank you and happy quilting :-D

Pretty pattern. It sounds like a kind of interfacing?

That sounds like the fiber that Sharon Schamber uses. I have some of it. Basically you cut out the design from the fiber, glue the edges of the fabric to the fiber cutout similar to how you would use freezer paper, then machine applique. The difference between this and freezer paper is that you leave this in the applique. I tried it, but it does not work as well as freezer paper for me. The fiber has a much softer edge and I found it hard to get sharp edges without making a mess of the applique. So, I prefer freezer paper even though I need to take it out afterwards.

Thank you for your responses. I think I am going to pass on this. I might wait until I see it in a LQS to see how it works! I have enough UFO's for whatever reasons!! Thanks for your help.

    Happy Quilting,
