Don't forget to put a secret pocket on the back. Or, zipped pockets and leave a note or surprise in it for her.

OK, Ladies ... thank you all so much for all the info and input. Your help was really appreciated. Here is the finished quilt I will be giving her. I do this style a lot of Project Linus. Too bad I can't personalize them all like this one. Thanks again!!! Warm hugs from FL, Janet
