    I had an argument with the printer and it won! Now have a new printer and we seem to get along pretty well.

    If you are adhering something to the fabric...like ironing fabric to the shiny side of butcher paper...and you've checked to make sure it is square, iron a 1/4 in strip of backing to the top of the fabric on the leading edge too. This gives the machine something easier to grab on to. Hope this makes sense.
