Hi Rita,

I have a walking foot for the 930 and I was wondering if the 1130 has to have it's own or if you think it will work on both? Also, where do you recommend that I purchase addt'l feet and bobbins for my machines?? Somewhere on the internet?? Any tips?? They use the same bobbins & the feet are interchangeable on both machines, right?

I appreciate your help and any advice, I'm going to need some I think.

I don't see why not if everything else is interchangeable the walking foot should work also. Good luck, try it you can't hurt these machines. Ask mine it will tell you I have tried lol.

I have a 930. Bought it new in 1983. It's a workhorse machine. I can't tell you if the same feet will fit the 1130 tho. You can check with a local dealer for bobbins/feet/parts/etc. The Bernina USA site has a "dealer finder". You put in your address & it'll show you dealers in your area. If there are none close by then try another zip code further away.

Hi Feather,

Thank you so much for the link. I am going to check it out. I've wanted a Bernina forever and now I have two and need to learn how to use them and learn as much as I can about them. Do you have recommendations about what needles work the best??
