    I like the bottom one - I think because of the backing.

    I like the second one best. I really like the backing! I'm in the process of making one myself. Mine is a winter scene of a red barn. Your Mom would like either one, both turned our great.

    Both are very nice quilts and I think your Mom would love either one and treasure it especially since you made it.
