When I saw the demostration at a quilt show, the woman was using very thin batting. I asked if thicker batting could be used & she said no. Because I didn't want paper thin batting, I opted not to get it. I'm sure it is like anything, the more practice you get, the better you will get at using it. She did make it look easier & boy, was she fast.

I have the Aunt Becky tool. The more you practice, you will eventually get the hang of if. Practice, practice and watch the video on QuiltersTV.
