Boy, my spelling was off on this one! And I edited the post twice! Oh well, you get the idea. It's Fabrics not Fabricks.

If you will be in Vancouver proper... you might want to check out www.theclothshop.com they have just moved recently. A shop I enjoy and it's not far from the airport is www.quiltedbear.net and if you come a little further east you will find www.wineberryfabrics.com or www.fabricana.com or www.agreatnotion.com and a little shop only a short ferry ride away www.carola.ca

If you go to Las Vegas Lokk up Quilt tours of Las Vegas. There is a gal ther who takes you on a 3-5 store shop hop, picks you up at your hotel and drops you back off and provides you with a mailing package (you pay postage) to get your haul back home unless you have an extremely large suitcase. Enjoy your trip!!!!!

I was going to list M & L Fabrics also. If you are going to Disneyland, Anaheim, it is not far from there. Plan a couple hours there if you can. It is a wonderful store and has tons of fabric at great prices. I am going there in the morning actually. The first time I went my eyes about popped out of my head. LOL Hope you have a great time while you are here.

A nice selection of batiks, Hoffmans, etc. Miss Kitty is the resident black cat. Friendly and helpful staff that really enjoys visitors.

M & L Fabrics
3430 W. Ball Rd
Anaheim, CA
(714) 995-3178
This isn't a quilt shop, just a fabulous store with fabric at cut-rate prices for flat fold ($1.98 a yard and the selection will boggle your mind - printed fabrics, solid fabrics, and flannels galore),and acres of fabric on the bolt that runs from $2.98 to $12.99/yd (generally bolted fabric is about $2 less a yard than you would find it in the quilt shops or fabric stores). And they have every panel made, all on display on the walls around the entire shop. And their cutting is generous, none of that have to be within a millimeter of the yardage you request.

Timeless Quilts
1155 E. Lincoln Ave.
Anaheim, CA 92805
(714) 520-5304
Timeless Quilts is a very unique Quilt Shop located in a beautifully restored and renovated, "craftsman" home, built in 1920. The home has warmth and charm, a perfect setting for quilting! I believe it is still open but I will call to be sure.

Oooops, correction, M&L Fabric on flat fold is now $2.98/yd, not $1.98. Used to be $1.59. Just can't keep up with inflation!

If you have time & a car, Lancaster, PA is about 2 1/2 hours north of Washington, DC and quilter's heaven. Lots of quilt shops with great prices and beautiful countryside. I live in the Washington DC area but do most of my fabric shopping in Lancaster. Here's a couple of info links http://www.quiltart.com/lancaster.html, http://www.padutchcountry.com/shoppi...ter-quilts.asp, and http://www.authenticbandb.com/quilters.htm.
