    Default baby girl quilt

would this be ok for a baby girl quilt if I use girly fabrics in pinks and putting a ruffle around the quilt instead of binding these are machine embroidery designs from sew weird I love her vintage designs http://www.sewweird.com/VintageBabyAnimalTrain.htm my plan is to embroider all 9 put them together in the exact same way and that will be my panel to work around the blocks a part of me says to boyish what would you experts do? thanks

I'm not an expert, but little girls like animals too. I think it would be totally appropriate using girly fabrics.

I think it engenders 'boy' thoughts as it stands but that's not a reason to do it for a girl. As loisf says, girls like animals as well! It's adorable.

Make sure you use some pinks in your embroidery and some pink in the sashing or borders. That will make it girly. Or what ever other color you deem girly.

I agree with the other posters. It will be girly if you use traditionally girly fabrics. It's a fabulous design and could easily be made very boy or very girl or very neutral.

It's very cute. Boy or girl a baby would love the cute animals. Girls like trains too:-).

I like it. Our 18 month old grand daughter's room is decorated with farm animals.
