Amen to that. I've been sending all of mine to Quilts For Kids but the shipping costs are getting insane. I'm checking in with a couple of friends that are in guilds that donate locally and that is what I plan to do in the future.

Thanks for sharing. Here is the link for Quilts for Kids I had to use. It is an org instead of com

I use this one as well. Quick, easy, no fabric "waste," a decent size and three different looks with a FREE pattern!

Google charities in your county. You can get a list of organizations and see which you prefer to donate to. If you call, they can tell you if there is a need for quilts or direct you to one that does use them. I have made the Warm Wishes quilt recently. Super easy and looks great.

Love this! What size does it turn out to be (using the 12" blocks)? Also, where can I get the pattern? I do alot of quilt donations to our guild & I get tired of making the same patterns (have made most of the mentioned ones) so I am always on the lookout for quick & easy ones for something different. Your reply would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hey, thanks a bunch for the link to this great pattern. I havea bunch of one yard novelty prints that will work just great! I keep having to remember that not all quilts have to be complicated to be effective and DONE is certainly better than "thinking about it!!!"

I would check with the (New Borns In Need) they collect quilts and blankets and other items for preemies and other children in need and hand them out. They are a non profit group that just wants to help families. I am almost sure there should be a group near you some where.

This a great one for charity, you could crank them out so fast. Good to practice M
FMQ. I am definitely bookmarking this one.
