hi my friend and i are thinking of starting a hand done embroydried baby quilts' what do we need to know

Baby quilts need to be very sturdy, as they will be washed many times. I'd keep the batting fairly thin, as too poofy a quilt can block a baby's breathing.

There are many videos on Youtube showing embroidery stitches if you need help with any.
