Funny but not really - poor you! I would throw it off the balcony.

Before I toss it overboard I want to take it apart and use it
(and my other machine) as training for repairing them.

Who knows MAYBE (slight chance of that) I might actually
get one or both of those old machines to working well.

Believe me though I WON'T hold my breath on that LOL.

Thanks for humoring me with this bout of craziness with the
old machine.

Do you know someone with a boat? Probably would make a good anchor....but then again it would probably just wash up on the beach and find it's way back to you. LOL

I didn't have a balcony, but my husband came home from work one day to find my shattered machine in his parking space. I had told him for ages that I was going to do something crazy if I didn't get a new machine. Next day, when I came home from work, I found a brand new Kenmore in my parking space. That was in 1964 and I still use that Kenmore. DH has gone to his reward tho.

That's so funny, maybe instead of throwing off a balcony you should use it as a boat anchor. it has a life of it's own, it's come back to haunt you!

I posted the idea of the boat anchor before I read everyone else's response, great minds think alike!

My brother has a boat, so I offered to give him this machine as a
back up anchor.

In his not so kind comments he told me of another place to put
that "bad penny".

I even offered it to my hubs as a "chock block" for his jeep. He refused
to put something "that ugly" near his pretty yellow jeep.

Guess I will just keep it to tinker with.

You'll find that you love to "tinker" with them. I love what I have learned about sewing machines just tinkering when I had the time and inclination. I LOVE it when I can get one to do what it is supposed to do.....
