The cream would give a very calm and relaxed feeling to the quilt

...........but.......

if you looking for a hale and hearty feeling, .......GO YELLOW

My first reaction was Oh! yum. I love the yellow but realize it wouldn't be everyone's choice. Don't know why some people have a problem with yellow it's so cheerful.

I do love yellow but I think the cream would be the best choice.

Yellow is one of my favourite neutrals, but I like the cream for this collection. I think the yellow is too strong

Ok I think the yellow is to bright maybe a lighter shade of yellow, not the tan JMO.
Also maybe you should choose which is your favorite color that would inhance your Baltics.
Go shopping!!

A little lighter shade of yellow as the cream seems to dull this:>

Thanks for all the input. I like the yellow too, though agree with those comments that it might over power everything in the quilt. So I put my stash back and picked up a softer shade of Kona Yellow that I think will add to the batiks but not over power them. Still sunny looking, just not screaming.

Why dont you wait to see it when you have some blocks finished. This might give you a better idea. The Batiks are beautiful.
