I saw a woman at my guild last night who had taken a class where they made a bag from a square quilt. It was folded in such a way that one corner of the quilt ended up covering the opening of the bag and the other corners formed pockets on the outside (and maybe the inside?). I wonder if anyone has seen this bag and knows of a pattern it. (I could ask the woman, but I don't know her name and left the meeting without hunting her down.)

I would love to see it. Never heard of a pattern like that. Next time you see her you have got to ask about the bag.

That sounds so interesting. I just can't picture it. I hope you see her again and can get a pattern. Keep us posted.

I think it is called Sunday Sachel. I have it at home, but haven't made it yet.

I saw this bag being made at a LQS. A quilted square of any size was folded and stitched to form pockets on the inside and flaps on the outside. I bought the pattern. Check you PM.

The pattern is Jiffy Totes
from Pearl Louise Designs.

I posted about how easy this patten was to make a few days ago but Admin took it off the main board.

Oh, thank you so much. I read your PM and responded, but actually this is not the bag I'm looking for. I'm surprised that admin took it off the board because the pattern is posted on the internet. Here is the link:
