Verrrrrry nice!!! I love it and would either do sashing in same brown as what you used in quilt and then a black border. Is this a pattern or did you just do as you went? Would like to use some of my scraps same way.

Your quilt top is lovely. You chose wonderful fabrics for that pattern. I would just quilt in the ditches, so that the strong basket weave design would not be hidden. I don't think it needs borders either - maybe just more of the same blocks, if you think it needs to be bigger. Or perhaps a thin border to frame it, and then basket weave blocks around that border.

I would like to do this but I am out of the background fabric :-(

I am using up fabric I already have for the borders and backing and I just happen to have some flannel from the same line (Moda Nest) so I am using that for the backing.
