LOL, I found a new fabric obsession. Some of you might know I am obbsessed with the 30's fabrics. Pretty bad when I have all the prints that the local Quilt shop carries, lol!
I stopped the other day, because a lady wanted a certain type of fabric, and found this AWESOME pile of batik FQ's. ON SALE! Never really looked at them, because I knew they were out of my budget, but these were only 2.00 a FQ! SO, I bought a few..........went back a while later for more!
NOW, I am checking them out in the Connecting Threads catalog......oh, no, new obssesion??????????

I love the batik's too. At first I didn't care for them until I bought a jelly roll made of batik's now I love them just can't afford to buy them.

Carrie, I never looked at them before either, because some of the ones at JoAnns are 12.99 a yard, too much for me! Turns out they are CHEAPER at my LQS!

My wm carries a few of them at $3.97/yd. they just don't have any I like right now. We also have Batik's by design here but I definitely can't afford to step in there but they have the most beautiful fabric's. They have a online shop too. Maybe I shouldn't have told you that!!

I just ordered the FQ batik collection from Connecting Threads. Although I've found their typical fabric not necessarily LQS quality, they were so tempting, I caved. I hope I like them. 79 of them.
