Of those two retailers, Thousands of Bolts, hands down, for all the reasons already given. That said, my main online source of batiks is Hancock's of Paducah because of selection and customer service. Their batik sale prices are the same as CT and ToB.

I agree with Thousands over connecting threads. It's not just their batiks that ravel excessively, I've bought alot from connecting threads that ravel excessively & have been having to stay stitch for fear that i'll have tears or rips or whatever you want to call it before I'm even done puecing the top.

I have not purchased from TB, but do not like, at all, those from CT. Very limp and does not feel like any batik I have purchased before. As matter of fact I can't even think of anything to do with them..
