Do any of you use thread embellishment on panels? I have some fabric panels that I think could be made to look even better with a little detailing. I don't have an embroidery machine so I'm thinking along the lines of hand or regular machine. Do you have any suggestions and/or examples?

How funny, I've been thinking along the same lines, and my last blog post was about thread painting on batik panels. I don't have any experience at it, but one of my blog readers emailed me this photo, is this cool or what?

Unfortuntely you can't see the thread painting on the dragon itself. :(

Just exactly along the lines, no pun intended, I was thinking of. Even just outlining the shapes might add interest. Wish I could see the detail on the dragon.
