batiks tend to be a *higher end* fabric...anything under $10 a yard is a real deal!
be sure to pre-wash...batiks bleed because they are hand dyed, not printed.

LOL Road Trip.........it would be a very long road trip, I am in Northern New York....lol would I love it...heck yeah!! lol You guys are so awesome on here. I am getting so many places to shop for Batiks......thank you all.

Lois......you are why I need Batiks...;0) I seen your beautiful Dragonfly Garden quilt and fell in love and went right to the site and ordered one!!! I got the pattern now time to buy the material! I am sooooo excited! Thank you for sharing your beautiful work!

I was just in Field's Fabrics today and they had quite a few bolts of batiks for $5.98 a yard.

I used batiks (love, love) once for a queen size quilt that is beautiful. I bought the fabric at a quilt shop. The fabric stores, like Joanne has ok fabric but when I make a quilt, I want the best fabric so to the fabric shop I go. And there is a difference.

this shop has lots of sellection and its not cheep(thin) fabric some cheeper batiks are very thin and they can tare easily .http///www.cherishedpeices.com
