Batting for flannel quilt
#1
Next quilt will be a flannel (first time for flannel). Wondering what everyone else uses for batting. Some suggestions I've heard is that they don't use batting for a flannel blanket. Just a flannel backing. What do you use?

I use the blue plastic covered batting from Joann's. For thicker ones I use the yellow plastic covered. the one is 6 oz and the other 10 oz. Can't afford to buy warm and natural. I give a lot of my quilts away and I tie them also.

I use batting in my flannel quilts and it really makes warm, cozy quilts. I've used both Hobbs 80/20 and Hobbs wool and both batting types worked well with the flannel. I did take care to machine wash and dry the flannel twice before I used it in the quilts.
