I saw this at Lancaster and I can say that it was outstanding. Too bad you can't see the crystal embelishments. It is definitely a WOW quilt

Barb, thank you so much for posting a link with those detailed pictures and a bit of background on the quilt. The maker is a true artist. This is just beautiful, peicing and quilting. Just amazing.

If she can do it, then so can we. It is just determination and will power and sewing continuously. I could do that, but I'm afraid I'm a bit lazy. 9 months is a long time for a quilt. But she only had so many hours to quilt. When I see quilts like that it makes me what to try to be better and try harder quilts. I'm glad you posted that picture. Gives me hope.

That is a stunning achievement, the moreso as it is by a home quilter. My first thought (as a home quilter, with a young'un) was "where did she have the space to lay that quilt out flat?! And how did she stop the cat walking on it?". I am thoroughly impressed...
