    Hello all,
I was looking in my local paper and there is a Bermina Artista 180, for sale. It says that it come with all accessories, 9 presser feet, VHS video 100’s stitches , 9 button holes 5 alphabets . Does anyone have this machine and how much do you love it, what is its con’s?

hi there. I have i believe the 165. I sure wish bernina would come up with some intelligent number system for their machines. I believe the 180 is a step up from mine. I didn't notice that you said anything about it being an embroider machine. I am pretty sure the 180 is. And I think it is like mine- It takes cards only. I absolutly love love love my machine. I can't say that I really have any problems with it with the exception that the cards are outdated- newer machines download off the internet or take usb and I can never get the needle threader to work right on mine but i'm a horribly impatient person so it's probably operator error!

I have the 185 and love it. Never had any problems with it at all. I have used the embroidery part and also had no problems with it. It sews like a charm. My husband offered to buy me a more updated version and I said no. I am happy with this one.

Thank you both for your input, the add did not say anything about being an embroider, but I'm going to call today and talk with the person.
    Thanks again

I have the 180 If it is the embroidery unit you will want the bernina software so you can download designs. I love mine and use it all the time.

I have one and I do love mine..however if i had my time again I would buy a machine with a larger throat space..it just depends on what you want it for. However, having said that I love the quality of my machine and would hate to part with it..
