    Default Bernina 135 QE

Does anyone own a Bernina 135 QE? I have an opportunity to purchased one used for $650 -- used less than one year. Does anyone know if this is a good price and what it my have sold for new? Thanks

I used to have one over 10 years ago. I paid around $1000, I think. It's a great reliable little machine. My daughter uses it now. I think $650 seems like a lot for a used one, but that's just my opinion of course.

I have and love my Bernina 135, I paid about 1,000.00 for it about 13 years ago, the year my grandson was born. It has been a work horse and I love it. I think mine is r\the Arista series

This gives you an idea on what Bernina have sold for on eBay:

If you are buying from a private party, remember you won't have any support or help with learning this machine. I have a Bernina 1530 I bought new for $1,000 in the 90s and she is still my main quilting machine.

You might ask if it has been serviced and by whom. Having that information, you could check the condition of it with the servicing mechanic, right?

Actually a friend is selling the Bernina? She purchased new and didn't use very long then purchased a baby lock. Wonder if the there is away to see actual hours used!

You can't see the actual mileage on the B135. But that is a great machine! I wonder why she would choose a Babylock over the Bernina. It may need a service, but it will run great for many years to come.

I have another question --- is the software for the Bernina 135 QE compatible with Windows 10?
