Default Bernina 770 Qe Thread break sensor

Hi. I accidentally started sewing with my needle in the wrong position and it hit the foot. Machine made an awful sound and the needle broke of course. So now my machine is acting up. Mostly the thread sensor keeps activating but the thread is not broken. Do you think something got out of alignment when I broke the needle??

I don't have your machine but have Berninas. I see no one has responded to your question....
Have you taken the bobbin case completely out and checked for broken bits? I assume you've turned it off and back on again (the "easy" fix - if it works). You may end up taking it in for service.
Hope you get it remedied quickly.

geez - I've done that before and is so frustrating. Thankfully I didn't damage the machine, good luck.
