Bernina 770Qe issues w cutter
When using decorative stitches my needle arm will freeze and vibrate like a Jack hammer when I push button to cut thread and will not stop until I turn off the machine. I have changed needles, rethreaded, cleaned, oiled, removed some large lint balls, turned off and on, cleaned the cutter, changed settings, turned settings off and on, looked for thread jams inside w a large flashlight , and short of opening it which I would never do I think I lost the battle. I am taking it in unless someone has a magic answer. I love this machine but it is hypersensitive to lint and all I do is decorative work using a lot of cotton thread. I clean it two or three times a day. Thx

Personally speaking, for as much as you pay for a Bernina, I'd take it back. Take the thread and fabric and show them what it's doing, and before you take it home, again bring the thread and fabric and make sure it does what you want it to do.

The 770s are generally well regarded. If you have already done the basic internet fixes and such, take it in to your repair person! This sounds like beyond annoyance.
I have an 820, they are less generally well regarded. I do all the things, have had it "fixed" and still have thread problems. Dealing with them now... I think my machine is very sensitive to humidity or something, last month no problems chugging along like a champ, change projects and now the stitch quality is bad again
