    Default Bernina 830

I just purchased a Bernina 830. Haven't really started to use it yet. Hope to do some experimenting this summer. Any ideas/recommendations?

If your dealer offers classes take them. They are well worth the time.

There are many posters here who have the new 830. Most rave about it. Lucky you!

Hopefully your dealer will offer classes - be sure to take them. Sew with your machine as much as possible. Your delaer will be your new best friend - call them with any questions you have. The 830 can be tempermental - it only likes to do one thing at a time. Wait for it to finish one process before you start another. Mine does NOT like any embroidery thread but Isacord. A lot of things you will learn as you go - but you will love your new machine. Check out the Bernina website - I would think there are a lot of good ideas there and maybe education on your new machine.

If you bought it from a Bernina dealer, then sign up for the guide classes.
