I have a 440QE and I am wondering if any of you use ruler and the Number 72 foot on this machine? Do you have to buy Bernina rulers of can they be any make? Thanks for any information.

I used the Bernina foot and rulers at an introductory class to see how I like it. You can use any manufacturer’s rulers that are the traditional long arm 1/4” size. I took one of the long arm rulers I already had, and it was fine.

I like using my Bernina ruler foot and rulers. You can use other rulers and Westalee has some cute ones as well as Angela Walters. Just be sure they are the thick ruler made for the ruler foot.
