Hubs is very thoughtful - I thought he would make fun of me for quilting (we're in our 20s and I've only been doing it a few months), but he gets so excited about everything I make. So far I've only made things for other people, and he keeps asking if we can keep them

Sounds like a wonderful hubby and he did a great job at choosing a machine. The highest price machines are not always the very best! Looks like you can do a wonderful "crazy quilt" useing some of those top stitches!

Congratulations!! What a keeper he is!! I love the honeycomb stitch. It would be darling to use on heirloom pieces.
