Default Best quilting machines??

I am an intermediate quilter and am looking to buy a better quilting machine. I would like to know what some good brands are for quilting machines. Unfortunately, since I am going to school full time right now I am a little limited in the money department. I am looking for a machine that is priced somewhere between 500 to 1,000. Thanks!

Hi, are you talking of a long arm or a machine to piece with? So many companys have come out with a longer bed machine to piece with. Brother, Janome, Bernina, Viking, etc. I have heard good things about Brothers and I own Janomies. IF you want a good straight stitch fast machine with a bit longer bed, try a Brother or any of the above. You can find the Brother I believe on Amazon as well as other places on the net for less than 1000.

I have a Brother and paid just under $900 for it...love it! If only I had more time to use it!

I have a Juki TL98QE and Babylock Jane, both straight stitch only. I piece and quilt on them, love them. Oldest Daughter has the Brother 1500 straight stitch machine, uses it for piecing and quilting and she loves it. $900.00, $700.00 and $600.00. Good prices, check out All Brands.

I have a Juki TL2000qi and it is WONDERFUL. Just FYI, HSN sells Juki and you can get them on 5 flex payments, which can help with cash flow!
