gift for outgoing President
We have been making blocks for the outgoing Presidents for several years. We are looking to see what other guilds do for this. We have 2 co-presidents. Any ideas for something different, what do other guilds give to them??

Our group is very informal, only 7 of us. No dues, no officers - just a good time for sharing/visiting. We get together in one of the member's church for a sew day a couple of times a year. Also go on shop hops, etc. Our meetings are in a member's home. Our group is too small to get clicky, really like that about it.

the larger guild I belong to does quilt blocks for a president that serves one year, a full quilt for one that serves 2 yrs (our bylaws limit it to two yrs max). The outgoing president gets some input--color choice, whether autograph blocks, etc.

Our guild has made blocks as well. The blocks have a theme...fav. colors of the president and/or their favorite interests such as : love cats, gardening etc. Each member signs their name and dates the blocks. With 2 presidents to thank, I bet a gift card to a fabric store would be appreciated...and maybe 1 block all members could sign.
