Yes i agree - you get the same results with the Easy Angle Ruler and the Companion Angle ruler - learned the technique from Bonnie Hunter. I get the most accurate half square triangles this way.

I am also a Deb Tucker Wing Clipper user. Before discovering the Deb Tucker ruler, I had been using my Creative Grids flying geese ruler to cut the triangles, and that, too, resulted in perfect flying geese. Now I'm hooked on the Deb Tucker Wing Clipper because there are no triangles to sew together. And also because it trims the flying geese perfect, so I don't have to use my regular ruler to square them up.

I just made 14 flying geese for a baby quilt. I tried out the EB template and was confused.. Then tried the Deb Tucker Wing Clipper.....So very exact with just a smidgen of waste....Deb Tucker's Wing Clipper is the only way for me!!!

Deb Tucker Wind Clipper anytime. One ruler for many sizes. Very accurate and very economical (important for those on a budget). Bloc-Loc is good but you have to buy one ruler for each of the different size.

Hands down Deb Tucker all the way if using a ruler. I've used the folded one also, shown by Jenny D (by Ricky Tim's) and it comes out perfect.

At guild meeting yesterday there was a demo of the Folded Corner Clipper ruler. I liked how easy it was to use. I ordered one from MSQC when I got home. I have the Deb Tucker Wing Clipper and have used it some.

I like the Creative Grids Ultimate Flying Geese ruler and have had great results with it. I love that it has the fabric cut sizes printed right on the ruler for FG ranging from mini's at 1/2"x1" to larger 4"x8" FG.

I also have Eleanor Burns minis - that I actually prefer for the minis - good luck choosing through all of the great options!

I love the Deb Tucker ruler, and have most of her other rules too. Wing Clipper ruler gets my vote. It uses the no waste method, but slightly oversized, so you can trim it down for perfect corners.
