BHG american quilting magazine

BHG magzine is a good informitive Magazine. But if you get it for the quilt patterns they have,The Quilt-Lovers Favorites Book they put out are for me the best thing to do. They take the best of the quilting patterns from past magazines and publish them in a book that lies flat and easy to comprehend and Pictures show a lot.
For me the magazine after awhile takes up a lot of space and with the The Quilt-Lovers Favorites I can find the pattern I want and have all the info about yardage everything right there.
There are 8 Vol. now and I have all 8. Patterns from beginners to advanced.
Just my opininion.

It is the only one I subscribe to! It is well worth the $$ to me! If a mag holds 2-3 projects I just have to make, then it is so worth it to me....I can't wait till the next one comes in the mail! So...I vote 'yes'...:)Skeat

Thanks for the recommendations for the magazine and also the books. I'll have to check them out. I don't get any quilting magazines. My birthday and Christmas are right around the corner! I do use the Better Homes and Gardens Complete Guide to Quilting as my basic go-to reference book for quilting how-to instructions. It covers it all and I've found it very helpful as a beginner. I originally bought it as a gift for my SIL but ended up using it myself and had to get her another one.
