    Big OOPS at garage sale!!

I spied a garage sale on my way home from work and thought I would stop. And WOW ... saw a Huskylock for $15 sitting on a shelf behind the table. I asked the guy if it ran (looked new), yes, and he walked over to take it down and bring it to me.

He tripped over something and the machine went flying out of the garage and crashed up against the stone wall of the garden!!

    what a waste.
May your stitches always be straight, your seams always lie flat, and your grain never be biased against you.

Did it all happen in slow motion? Actually it was a bigger loss to you than to the seller. What's $15 compared with a lifetime of sewing.

That sounds like something I would do. My friend found a couple of old glass insulators that electric high wires used to be wound around in my father's barn. When I foolishly tossed it into the box, it hit the other one and now has a big chip in it and is basically worthless.

That just stinks! Like the others said, hope the guy was ok...since machines can be replaced (well, sorta...lol) and people can't...
