Which is the bigger devil?
I am thoroughly amazed by the quilts and work I see online. I watch this board closely as well as Pinterest.
Both of them have sparked so many ideas I want to try! I have several notes written down from forum people here I want to do....and when I looked at my quilt board on Pinterest, I found I have several HUNDRED pinned on there. Some were merely pinned for color combo effects or stitching tutorials, but many were patterns I fell in love with.
I'll never get that many quilted in my lifetime! LOL
Which is the bigger devil for you.....this forum or Pinterest. Or other?
Just curious!

Another source of inspiration for me is Judi Madsen's blog ( http://www.greenfairyquiltsblog.com/ ). Her stuff is just astounding!!
I also like Lisa Calle's work and rulers ( https://www.lisahcalle.com/ ).
I also had a friend selling alot of quilt stuff - books, fabrics, etc - that was his mom's. I just got about 5 books from him for an amazing price. And while a couple of them are really old for technique (1988 is the oldest), there is still a lot to be inspired by.
And my favorite "thing" for inspiration is Cosmatesque architecture. Ahhh, THAT is inspiration!!!

QuiltingBoard is where I go for information.. I don't go to pinterest too often and when I do I am distracted by gardening and chickens on the site. I do get magazines and have 3- 3in binders with patterns in plastic sleeves.

The bigger devil for me is "ME". I spend way too much time on here and the internet. The QB is a temptation, but I OUGHT to be able to control my response to the temptation. (sometimes I actually do!)
However, I have learned that I rarely go back to look at what I have pinned or bookmarked, so that is under control. But eye candy - fabrics! - can't resist looking! Sometimes I think I only quilt as an excuse to look at fabric and buy it!
