Bionic Gear Bag - Anyone Else Making It?
#24
Still not done mine ....be patient with me, I am s-l-o-w - but will take pictures. I showed the video to my OTR trucker son - and he immediately saw the potential. He wants one for his calligraphy supplies (his take-a-long hobby.) I will definitely visit the LQS for some appropriate fat quarters and on his next visit home have it ready for him.

I still see it as $12. I love this bag. Planning to buy the pattern tomorrow. I want to make one for by my sewing machine and a second one for my GFG project, time to update from my dingy plastic carrying case. Thank you for posting this pattern. Now if only I can work through my hatred of sewing zippers :-)

I know one other person who is making 5 of them to use when she is participating in a sale/ silent auction of some sort for a fundraiser for their quilting group.

Ripstitcher - I ordered the fabric you used but I also ordered some quilt comic strip fabric with super hero quilter for the inside, so cute! I can't wait to get it.
One question for you, I watched your video on laminating. You said you wouldn't laminate the binding on the zipper... What about the binding around the the edges of the bag? Do you think that worked?
So excited to make this bag!
