Black 100% Cotton Batting
Do you know where I can find black 100% cotton batting? There must be somebody selling it. I checked all the usual suspects and a few unusual ones and no luck. Help!

I believe the only black batting I have seen is polyester. Hobbs has one and Quilter's Dream has one.
Edit: I see that Hobbs has a black 80/20 batting. That may be as close to 100% cotton as you can get.

You can easily dye cotton batting. It's often dyed for use in art quilts, but in smallish pieces and for the surface of the quilt, not the inside. It won't turn true black, but it will certainly be dark enough not to worry about when used in dark quilts if you can manage dyeing the larger amount. Rit dye has some info that may help you decide whether to try it. Make sure it doesn't bleed afterwards!
