I used Dream Cotton in black. Very nice quiality and twin size is around $14. Hobbs also carries a black you can get from Connecting Threads. If your LQS carries Dream Cotton they can order the black with next order. Mine does anytime I need it.

Thanks to all of you who posted links for the batting. I too had been searching. Now I've got some places to shop.

I looked around for black batting, found some very thin at JoAnns, it felt very limp, didn't like the feel.

I found some 70/30 black batting at a Joann's ETC store. I'm not sure it is still an ETC because they have reduced the size of this store by about 50%. The cost was $10.99 per yard so the 40% coupon really helped. It seems really fuzzy and no product insert was included so it's not a Warm product. I haven't used it yet but am already thinking that the next time I need it I will order it from Bat-Mart.com.

I did not know that batting came in any color other than white. Does it come in more colors than black and white?
