    Default Black Friday Joanns

Yes I braved it- the lines were long, but they had ever spot for cutting being used, everyone was very nice and friendly I got some flannel, a new pair of rag quilt snips a 28mm rotary cutter and extra blades and some of the Clarks and Coats quilting thread - spent 76.00 saved 225.00 I think it was WOO HOO

Did you brave it ? What did you get ?

I stayed home, paid $1.99 online for flannel, free shipping. Figured that I broke even (1.49/yd in store) after saving money for gas and time. Also online the selection was wonderful.

I am staying home, doing the same thing uhweaver did! Flannel for $1.99 and free shipping is a great deal, and I didn't fight the traffic and use the gas. Hope everybody gets some good deals today!

I went and spent about $30. Looked at my receipt when I got home and noticed they charged me $1.97 twice for a pkg of buttons I picked up off the clearance shelf. I only had one card and they are marked $.97. I'm going to stop in next week and point it out to the manager. I know it is a small amount but at the Veteran's day sale they misread a remnant as $6.00 instead of $4.00. I thought it was just a little mistake and since I got another 25% off I didn't want to make a fuss. I know they are small amounts but now that it happened twice in one month to me I wonder how many other people are being overcharged. I'm sure the manager has some kind of "thank you for pointing out the error we will use this as a training opportunity" form letter.

I was busy getting out my credit card and coupons so I wouldn't tie up the line. I guess I'd better start watching them ring up everything so I can check the bill before I pay.
