I just found out from my cousin, she is the manager of fabric dept at a Wal Mart in No Cal, she said the fabric dept is coming back!! Some stores are getting jelly rolls, layer cakes and other items. She said it will take some time though.

Our WalMart has so much fabric they can't even find room for it. They have two big tables in the center aisle stacked with bolts. Plus 3 or 4 shopping carts full. We are supposed to be getting a Super WalMart within the next year, so I presume they will put in a large sewing section in it. But you must remember that we are at least 90 miles from the nearest JoAnns, Hancock, etc. We do have three LQS, but they are expensive.
