Black or white
#41
Wow, so now I think I will go to see if perhaps I can find a charcoal or perhaps a pale yellow that might look better. I too a concerned about black fading so I guess it’s off the the fabric store for me. I have pulled this fabric out a bazillion times and now I’m determined to make something with it, I am going to make the daisy chain quilt from Missouri *, this will allow me to make a larger quilt as I seem to be on a bed size quilt mission this year!

I like the black as a small inner border and you can use white, or one of your greys for the outer border. I would also put a 1/4 inch flange of yellow between the black and the outer border, just to make everything pop.

I love these colors and have made several quilts out of them. The design will be the deciding factor, because I made a quilt using white (least favorite of the three but nice.) I used the dark gray (I love that quilt because I made it with my 86 year old mother) and black. I love anything made with black because it is my favorite color. You can not go wrong, I know that this did not help.
