I only live about 35 or 40 miles from Paducah so a friend and I go on Wednesday to beat the crowd. Well, someone told the crowd that today was the day to go cause it was crowded everywhere we went. Since the flood walls are up and the convention center is closed all of those vendors have been moved to two empty buildings out by Ky. Oaks Mall. The marshmallow pavillion is still up out by the quilt museum. Lots and lots of vendors and I have never seen so many quilting machines in all my life. Went to the Eleanor Burns show and shopped her tent. Had a great day.

Oh, how lucky you are. Hope I can go some day. Glad you had a great time even with the floods.

Oh I am so happy for you that you get to go yearly. It's my dream to go some year soon.
Hope everyone is safe from the terrible weather so many places are getting hit with.

Lucky duck... I've always had to work and by the time I get off it wouldn't be worth going for 20 minutes.

My DH only has off 1/2 Friday and Saturday so I can't really ask him to spend that time fighting the crowds. Maybe someday we'll go but I don't see it for awhile.

Shame too since we're only about 15 miles away.

You'll need to find a friend to go to the show with on Wednesday and/or Thursday. That way you get to enjoy the show and spend time with DH. DH will like that he doesn't have to go and fight the crowds.

My goodness a 15 min drive is like going to the grocery store.

Thanks for posting about your day!
I'm driving in tomorrow about 5 hours away and I can't wait to
to have quilt time for three days just for me.
